NAIDOC WEEK CELEBRATIONS Urban Indigenous suggests that Schools, Colleges and Universities celebrate NAIDOC week on any week but NAIDOC week due to the high demand for presenters at this time.
We offer fully inclusive bush camps and extended itineraries for all age groups Exceptional bush camp experiences with our passionate guides. These are geared towards sharing culture and country whilst engaging team building strategies, challenging stereotypes, and increasing awareness. We do all the organising, catering, and activities. Educational Workshops Our educational programs are engaging, fun, and are whole-heartedly committed to reconciliation Australia. Our activities celebrate the ancient & living culture of Aboriginal Australia while at the same time addressing matters of reconciliation, closing the gap practices and challenging stereotypes. The Urban Indigenous team are dedicated to education and respect for all.  Our presenters welcome questions from the students and this interactive engagement between the presenter and the students is something Urban Indigenous prides itself on.

Students may participate in some of the following experiences : ABORIGINAL ART ACTIVITY BUSH TUCKER TASTINGS STOLEN GENERATION & DREAMTIME STORIES A LITTLE BIT OF THIS, A LITTLE BIT OF THAT - an ideal cultural introduction for the little ones. Explore a little bit of art, a little bit of tucker tastings, and a little bit of cultural stories. *Our most popular Urbs program COLLECTIVE CANVAS - invite an Urban Indigenous artist to assist with the design and creation of a school or corporate mural. Find a brick wall, lonely shelter shed, or ask Urban Indigenous to bring in a long length of canvas and assist our artist in some magnificent art SCHOOL WALL MURALS - invite an Urban Indigenous artist to assist with the design and creation of a school mural. Find a brick wall, lonely shelter shed, or ask Urban Indigenous to bring in a long length of canvas and assist our artist in some magnificent art. The artwork below has been created by students of all ages, from the teeny weeny to teenagers. Our staff love helping schools to create co-operative canvasses and murals where the whole school can participate during the day. URBAN INDIGENOUS DANCE GROUP - enhance your cultural activity with our interactive and entertaining aboriginal dancers TAILORED EXPERIENCES - Urban Indigenous can provide specialised experiences to match your request.
